Pea shooter traditionalists decry use of laser sights at annual competition
Brilliant, some guy makes a laser sight to win the peashooting world championships out of bits from a Nintendo and a “gyroscopic balancing mechanism” (where do you get one of these?!).
My favourite bit in the article are the peashooting ‘technical’ terms - “wind expenditure” (how hard you blow), “moisture criteria” (the optimum amount of saliva on the pea), and “muzzle velocity” (the speed the ammo comes out of the barrel)
